Rocketry Payload

In order to ensure 90° angle from the ground, the team will use an Arduino microcontroller with a control loop algorithm, three servo motors, and a 9DOF inertial measurement unit.

In order to capture the payload's surroundings, the team will be using four wide-lense ArduCam modules connected to a Raspberry Pi, along with an OpenCV photo stitching algorithm.

In order to transmit this image over a distance of up to 6000 feet, the team will be using Adafruit radio bonnets transmitting and receiving at 433 MHz with LoRa protocol.

While designing and building a successful payload is our main goal, we also plan to assist other subsquads of the Rocketry Team and make our designs fit with the launch vehicle.
